SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:
The Director of Behavioral Health -ADK Region will work collaboratively with the Director of Behavioral Health -Seaway Valley Region in the delivery of Behavioral Health services for the North Country Region. The Director will have responsibility for the overall administration and operations of the Behavioral Health Division within Franklin County and any additional service offerings launched in the 518 area code.
With a distinct focus on employee engagement, quality of service delivery, profitability, and regulatory compliance of all clinic-based services and urgent cares as well as satellites within the ADK Region, the Director serves as a key member of the Operations management team. Collaborating on organizational business issues, communicating appropriate messages, and supporting and driving corporate initiatives is essential. The Director oversees all activities of the ADK Behavioral Health programs, providing leadership and direction, and acting as a positive role model. Additional focus includes clinical and programmatic oversight while prioritizing billing/reimbursement, staffing, certification, program development, budgeting, community networking, and special projects, as assigned. Through collaboration with physician leadership and administration, the Director will drive the development and execution of short- and long-term business plans and strategic goals for the Division.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position.
Hours and schedules may vary depending on Company need and workload. Employees will be given as much advance notice as possible when such changes occur.
Travel will be as needed between different locations to successfully execute job duties. Travel may be up to 50% of job time.
Required Education and Experience:
1. This role requires a bachelors degree in health and human services, social work/mental health, public health or related field with 6 years of experience, 3 of which is in a supervisory capacity. Masters degree is preferred.
2. Experience with OMH, OASAS, OPWDD, and DOH regulations and programs is required.
